• catch a boat to visit the island nearby, like Palmaria, Tino and Tinetto
• rent a private boat with one of our local partners, with or without license
• sail with a private ship, with a skipper, or on an organized tour
• visit the villages on liguarian coast, like Lerici and Tellaro, or drive a bit further to the famous Versilia coast and the glamorous villages of Forte dei Marmi and Viareggio
• get lost in La Spezia city centre, with the promenade, the museums, the market
• plan a shopping trip to the nearby Shopinn Brugnato outlet village (link http://www.shopinnbrugnato5terre.it)
• visit the medieval town of Sarzana, with its castle and the world renown flea and antiques market
• the Lunigiana area, and its famous castle
• Val di Vara and Varese Ligure, the first valley to be all converted to organic agriculture in Europe
• The Carrara marble quarries (link http://www.marmotour.com), a breathtaking experience in the earth of the mountains
• visit the vineyards of the cinque terre area, have a wine and oil tasting experience
• visit the world renowns cities Firenze, Lucca and Pisa, all within 2 hours drive
